The Fresh Air Fund: Donate today to change a child’s life forever.

The Fresh Air Fund had an amazing 2008 but they could really use your help right now. They rely on donations this time of year to keep their programs strong for the summer months. The Fresh Air Fund is also looking for hosts for the summer and they insist that any help would be fantastic. There are many different levels of donations that can be made, tailored to fit any budget.
Who does the Fresh Air Fund help?
Fresh Air children are boys and girls, six to 18 years old, who reside in low-income communities in New York City and are eager to experience the simple pleasures of life outside the city.
As one child puts it, “In the city, you have to think about what is going to happen around the next street corner. In the woods, you walk with a group of friends and counselors. You don’t even think about city problems.”
Sounds pretty awesome to me.
